Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 10th league match of IPL 14 season.
Speaking after winning the toss, Virat Kohli said, “We want to bat first. The ground is favorable for spin bowling. The chances of winning are bright if you hit the field first and score more runs. That’s why we decided to bang first. We will be banging with a total of three foreign players. Daniel Christine is retired. Rajat Patidar has joined the team. ”
Ian Morgan said, “If we had won the toss, we would have chosen batting first. We have shown excellent play in the last two matches. Hopefully we will play better today. No changes have been made to the squad. ”
