WOMEN’S SERIE A: IT WILL BE AN UNPRECEDENTED FINAL OF THE ITALIAN CUP BETWEEN ROME AND MILAN.

An Italian women’s cup final that will be decidedly unprecedented, with Roma reaching this prestigious milestone for the first time in its history in which they will have to contend with the Rossoneri of Milan coached by Mr. Ganz.

Two teams that deserved qualification after the semifinals in which they eliminated the Italian champion battleship Juventus and Inter, respectively.

Roma had won the first leg match against Juventus 2-1 within the friendly walls, and after Juve’s 3-2 final in the return, with the same goals scored, it is the Giallorossi who gain access to the final,  thanks to away goals that are worth double.

The goals from Thomas and Paloma  Lazaro,  who in the second half had overturned the result after the momentary advantage of Juventus in the first fraction with the goal of  Pedersen, were decisive for the Capitoline team.

In the final five minutes of recovery, everything really happens: from two set kicks, the BiancoNere find the goals of  Girelli first and then Gama, which are used to win but are not enough for access to the final.

On the other hand, Mr. Ganz’s AC Milan eliminates Inter, with the final result of 4-2 thanks to braces from Veronica Boquete and Natasha Dowie, who overturned the 1-2 of the first leg in favor of Inter.

Boquete was the protagonist at the ‘Vismara’, with two goals scored in a quarter of an hour: in the first a good personal action and then the tap-in from a favorable position, a deadly KO that knocks out the Nerazzurri ‘cousins’.
